Alright, 6th graders...our week-long science camp field trip is just around the corner! As we prepare for our early morning departure on 18 October, I'd like to ask that you keep a few important things in mind:
1. We'll be meeting at the school at 7:00am sharp so that we can spend half an hour getting car assignments and loading up our luggage in time for our 7:30am departure.
2. Please keep everything you're bringing to the four-item limit we discussed in class: one suitcase, one pillow, one sleeping bag, and one backpack for our daily hikes.
3. When packing, be sure you follow the guidelines given to us by Westminster Woods. Remember that there are items you need to bring, items that are optional for you to bring, and items you are not allowed to bring (per their instructions).
4. Everybody (students and adult chaperones alike) needs to bring a lunch for Monday, and after that all meals will be provided by the camp. No extra food may be brought along! Their food is so tasty that you'll be quite satisfied with what they have to offer.
5. Be excited because it's an AMAZING trip that you'll remember for years to come!
